Drinking is Bad
Huck's pap was so drunk he couldn't even think right. He would beat Huck that's messed up I don't blame Huck from running away. That must feel bad being beaten on by your own blood and father. Huck was clever and made it look like he was walking the opposite way of were he was going to trick pap. Huck's a smart boy.

ReplyDeleteI agree that Huck was a really smart kid for faking his own death before he ran away I bet that most kids his age would not have thought of faking their death if they were going to run away.
ReplyDeleteHuck is smart even though he has not had much education, but he is practical and rational thinking. So of course he would find a way to escape is poor excuse of a father and live on his own or even with the Widow. I'm glad he went off on his own because he gets along better when he can do things how he sees fit. though I do feel bad that he would be lonely if he never found Jim.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you it is bad to drink specially if you're going to be acting all crazy that'll make you do things like what pap did to Huck the good thing was that Huck knew how to trick pap he was a smart kid.
