Huck Finn.. Cross dresser.
Huck and Jim have run away and now Huck has gone to town dressed as a girl to disguise himself. When he goes to a house he is found out that he is a boy, I find it to be weird personally, if he wanted to run and be hid, why go back, obviously he is trying to run so what is the point. He also was found out about but had to lie through his teeth about it. I think it's too risky, but what you all think?

I personally think it was smart to find out what the towns people were thinking about the crime. It was foolish of him to go bad in such a bad disguise. If Huck hadn't gone back then the search party might have found them. Ultimately, he was very lucky to not get caught.
ReplyDeleteHe probably felt a lot better knowing that people are worried about him and basically want to kill his Pap. But he dressed that way to make sure know one was looking for him.
ReplyDeleteI disagree, Huck went to town to find information on whether or not the murder had blown over. I disagree, I don't think it was too risky because of Huck's ridiculous skill for lying, and because Huck went to a woman's house that was new to town.
