I like the difference between tom and huck because it makes the story very interesting . How does pap know where huck has been? Or where was pap? The theme of the story is also good. I want to know how would the story be different if hucks dad wasn't in the story. How different would the story be?

I am also curious to know what would have happened if Huck's father did not pop in to the story. I guess it's very likely that Huck would have stayed with the Widow to become what she wanted Huck to be-- a respectful, educated, and well mannered individual. As for Jim, he would have probably still run away, since he did really believe he was going to be sold. It's very sad to me that Pap took Huck from that house, I think Huck would have eventually gotten over the Widow's peculiar ways and been happy and would've lived a normal life.
